The Ugandan Kob

The Ugandan Kob (Kobus kob thomasi) is a subspecies of the kob, a type of antelope found in sub-Saharan Africa in Sudan, Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Ethiopia. It is normally reddish-brown, in which it differs from other kob subspecies. An Ugandan Kob appears on the coat of arms of Uganda.

The Ugandan Kob is sometimes alternatively classified into the subgenus Adenota. References are sometimes made to it by the Dutch name of Oeganda-waterbok.

Deprived

A child being deprived is not because of his or her fault, it is simply because of the poverty present in their family history. This is therefore great to give these little children a reason to smile, a very good future as compared to the one he is living. By so doing the kid understands to value life and the wonderful individuals near him .

children die each day from contaminated water

30,000 children die each day from contaminated water
85% of all diseases in African children under 5 are caused by water-borne illnesses
The United Nations reports that 20% of the world’s population struggles to gain access to safe drinking water every day
Technology exists to eradicate such suffering, but past efforts have failed to achieve sustainable results .
